This year’s Rallye Day was another lovely day and a fabulous experience for everyone involved! The 2019 Rallye had a record 66 cars registered and 140 people participating.
This year’s event saw was the most diversified group so cars thus far. Cars ranging from a feisty Lamborghini to a zippy Mini, and from 1957 MGA to a 2019 Corvette! Laps on the track is always a highlight for most, and a festive atmosphere was experienced at the awards assembly.
Collectively, with the event and the auction, we raised $14,500 for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation! Fantastic event everyone! As always, we are honored by your support for a cause that is so near and dear to our hearts.

A special Most Persistent award was given to the Dynamic Duo.
Our 2019 Rallye for a Cure Award went to Jaguar Hartford this year. Joan Gaudet and her team have been our rock, stepping up to be our Platinum sponsor and our host for breakfast and the starting location for 7 years in a row! They are truly community people; please spread the word about this team and the all that Jaguar Hartford has to offer.
The Driver’s Club Award is given to participants who have increased Rallye participation by inviting friends and family (and several cars) to participate as a group or team. This year we added two individuals to the Club! Many thanks to both Johnny Andrea and Kurt Ryder for helping us to grow our Rallye for a Cure family.
A special thank you to the CT MG Club who was a Gold Sponsor this year, donating $1,000 to the event. Their continued support for this event is remarkable, and we are so grateful.
In the end, YOUR support for Rallye day made the day smooth, enjoyable, and successful! We look forward to seeing you every year, and thank you for your positive and generous participation! And as always, we look forward to any positive feedback you might have to make the Rallye even more successful next year (please feel free to email us in reply!)
When you have time, friend us on Facebook (search “Rallye for a Cure)” and Instagram (rallyeforacure). We will be announcing next year’s location and date in late Spring, and post updates on both sites (sometimes with clues!)
We ALREADY look forward to seeing you next year for the 2020 Rallye for a Cure!
